There are currently vacancies open for disability support workers in the northern suburbs on the program of a female client with spinal cord injury. This is a one-on-one disability support role in the private home of the client, with versatile daytime and evening shifts, making it a great option to balance with study or other commitments. Support workers will assist with daily living activities, personal care, light household tasks and community access. Reliability, clear communication and a willingness to learn are essential. Experience in disability support and/or relevant checks and certificates will be highly regarded, with training and ongoing support provided. QUALIFICATIONS – Certificate III/IV in Individual Support (or professional equivalent) – Experience preferred, but full training is also provided – NDIS Check, Working with Children Check, First Aid/CPR, and Police Check Pay: $38.00 – $52.75 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 – 36.0 per week Work
