site Supervisor & Estimator – Gardening and Landscaping We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor and Estimator to join our gardening and landscaping team. The successful applicant will have strong knowledge of gardening, landscaping and plants, with the ability to supervise teams, prepare accurate estimates and ensure projects are completed to a high standard and within required timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise gardening and landscaping work on residential and commercial sites Assist gardeners and landscaping staff on-site when required
- Prepare accurate estimates, quotes and material take-offs Assess site conditions, project requirements and labour needs
- Plan daily tasks and allocate work to team members Monitor job progress, quality, safety and completion timelines
- Identify and solve problems efficiently on-site Communicate professionally with customers, staff and management
- Provide management with clear project updates, checklists and processes Order and coordinate materials, equipment and plant supplies
- Ensure sites are kept clean, organised and professionally presented Manage workloads to ensure projects are completed on schedule
- Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in gardening and landscaping
- Strong knowledge of plants, garden maintenance and landscaping practices
- Experience preparing gardening and landscaping estimates or quotes
- Previous supervisory or team management experience
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent customer communication skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Ability to lead a team and ensure tasks are completed properly
- Willingness to work hands-on with employees when necessary
- Own reliable vehicle
- Current driver’s licence
- Ability to work outdoors and manage physically demanding tasks
