Apollo Marble & Granite Pty Ltd is a locally owned and operated family business based in Derwent Park Tasmania. We are seeking an experienced or motivated Stonemason, Kitchen Benchtop Fabricator, CNC Machine Operator or Stone Polisher to join our team. This is a full-time position with an immediate start available. Training can be provided to the right candidate, and qualified and experienced applicants are highly regarded.

About the role
You will work on residential and commercial kitchen benchtop projects, including stone fabrication, installation and polishing. Your duties will include:
- Measuring and assessing customer sites
- Reading plans and working accurately from measurements
- Fabricating and installing stone kitchen benchtops
- Cutting, shaping, edging and polishing stone surfaces
- Operating CNC machinery, where experienced
- Completing quality checks and ensuring a high standard of workmanship
- Maintaining a clean and safe workshop and worksite
- Working cooperatively with customers and the wider team About you We are looking for a reliable, hands-on person who takes pride in detailed and high-quality work. Applicants with experience as a:
- Stonemason
- Kitchen Benchtop Fabricator
- Stone Installer
- Stone Polisher




- CNC Machine Operator
- Joiner or Joinery Tradesperson
- Carpenter
- Cabinet Maker
- Cabinet Installer
- Draftsperson in cabinetry, joinery or stonework are encouraged to apply. CNC machine operation experience is highly regarded. Training can be provided for the right person who demonstrates a robust work ethic, willingness to learn and an interest in stone benchtop fabrication.
