About the role
Full-time MC driving position based in Perth. Year-round bulk grain haulage from country locations to Fremantle. Overnight stays in the truck are expected for some runs. Operating brand-new Volvo FH16 780 prime movers and 27.5 m trailer combinations. Safe and responsible operation of heavy vehicles at all times with professional presentation and conduct while representing YT Bulk Haulage.
Key responsibilities
- Hauling grain from country locations to Fremantle
- Operating Volvo FH16 780 prime movers safely and professionally
- Working with 27.5 m trailer combinations
- Safe and responsible operation of heavy vehicles at all times
- Professional presentation and conduct while representing the company on the road
- Adhering to industry regulations and undertaking pre and post trip inspections
- Commitment to safe driving and fatigue management About you
- Current MC licence
- Current commercial driver medical
- Demonstrated experience operating MC combinations
- Ability to meet deadlines for delivery timetable
- Demonstrated experience with 27.5 m combinations
- Strong commitment to safe driving and fatigue management
- Skilled attitude and presentation
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to pass random drug and alcohol testing at all times
- Understanding of the importance of adhering to industry regulations and undertaking pre and post trip inspections Advantages
