Barista / All-Rounder – Sea Shells Cafe and Restaurant

About the Role
Sea Shells Cafe and Restaurant is looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Barista / All-Rounder to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with customers, preparing coffee and supporting the team across front-of-house and general cafe duties. Training will be provided to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages.
- Operate and maintain the coffee machine and coffee station.
- Take customer orders and process payments.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Serve food and beverages to customers.
- Assist with clearing and cleaning tables.
- Keep the cafe, service areas and coffee station clean and organised.
- Assist with basic food preparation when required.
- Support the kitchen and front-of-house team during busy periods.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements.




- Assist with opening and closing duties as required. About You
- Previous barista or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential.
- Basic coffee knowledge is an advantage, but training will be provided.
- Friendly and confident communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a busy environment.
- Willing to learn and assist with different cafe duties.
