The role of Management Accountant (Systems) in the services industry focuses on optimising financial systems to support effective reporting and decision-making processes. This temporary position offers a role to contribute to the enhancement of accounting and finance systems as well as BAU Accounting work & other process improvement projects. Client Details A publicly listed services organisation is seeking a Management Accountant (Systems) to join its high-performing finance team. Description The Management Accountant (Systems) will be responsible for , but not limited to:
- Maintain and support finance systems, ensuring data integrity, process efficiency, and optimal system performance.
- Assist with month-end close, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and management reporting.
- Partner with finance and operational stakeholders to deliver meaningful financial insights and analysis.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual processes.
- Support system upgrades, enhancements,



and finance transformation projects while acting as a key finance systems contact. Profile A successful Management Accountant (Systems) should have:
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CA/CPA Qualification
- Experience in an accounting or systems related role
- Strong understanding of financial systems and reporting tools.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Knowledge of the property industry is advantageous. Job Offer
