About the Role
We're looking for a Strategic Partnerships Intern to work closely with our GTM Lead and Partnerships team to identify opportunities, build relationships, and support strategic initiatives that drive KPay's growth. You'll gain hands-on exposure to partnerships, business development, and go-to-market strategy, working with founders, business owners, and senior stakeholders across the ecosystem. This is a high-ownership prospect where you'll learn by doing, contribute to real commercial initiatives, and build the foundations for a career in fintech. High-performing interns may have the prospect to transition into a part-time or full-time role with KPay.

What You'll Do
Strategic Partnerships
• Research and identify potential strategic partners across fintech, technology, SaaS, POS, and business communities
• Support partner outreach, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement
• Help move partnership opportunities from initial conversation through to execution
• Support partnership onboarding, activation, and ongoing engagement Growth & GTM
• Identify opportunities to drive merchant acquisition, referrals, and commercial growth




• Support market and competitor research to identify new opportunities
• Assist with partnership proposals, presentations, and GTM initiatives
• Contribute ideas and insights to support KPay's growth strategy Execution & Collaboration
• Maintain partnership pipelines, CRM records, and follow-up actions
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to execute initiatives
• Turn strategic direction into structured, timely execution What We're Looking For
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Technology, or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organised, proactive, and reliable, with robust follow-through
• Comfortable building relationships and communicating with new people
• Strong commercial curiosity and interest in partnerships, GTM, business development, fintech, or startups
• Resourceful, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and external partners Nice to Have
• Previous experience in business development, partnerships, sales, consulting, startups, or student leadership
• Experience working with external stakeholders or coordinating projects
• Interest in fintech, payments, SaaS, or technology
