About the Role
We're looking for a capable and safety-focused Maintenance Fitter to help keep our plant, machinery and production equipment operating efficiently. This is a varied, hands-on opportunity where you'll work across the site completing preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, fault-finding, equipment installation and continuous improvement activities.
What You'll Do
• Maintain,
repair and troubleshoot plant and machinery.
• Complete scheduled and preventative maintenance.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
• Install mechanical assemblies and maintenance equipment.
• Work closely with Production and site teams.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records.
• Support a clean, safe and organised workplace. What You'll Bring
• Relevant trade or engineering qualification.
• Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills.
• Practical, solutions-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Manufacturing, factory or plant-maintenance experience preferred.
• Food-processing experience and additional licences advantageous.
