Your Role
Our client in Oakleigh, requires experienced Registered Nurses to support them on an ongoing basis. Our client has limited mobility and a tracheostomy. We are looking for nurses who are available flexible to work across a 24/7 roster.
Our nurses will demonstrate teamwork and champion a safe and positive environment for our client and will be guided by a solid Allied Health presence. You will help us manage and maintain strong clinical standards and will be required to support our client in achieving their short and long-term goals.
Our ideal nurses will have proven experience in tracheostomy care, manual handling, Pressure Area Care and knowledge in PEG procedures.
Duties;
Airway assistance and management
Continuous clinical assessment of client
Assist alongside the Support Worker with ADL's
Experience with non-cuffed Tracheostomy care and management
PEG management including feeding and medication administration
Personal care including skin integrity management and pressure area care
Support the client with activities at home and out in the community
You must have;
Valid Driver's License
Current AHPRA Registration
CPR Certificate (within 12 months)
NDIS Worker Screener Check
International Police check (if applicable)
