As an ADF Rehabilitation Consultant at Acumen Health, you will call on your clinical reasoning skills and clinical expertise to support ADF personnel who have suffered from injury, illness, or trauma. Working with the only rehabilitation service provider to ADF personnel, you will take a holistic care approach for your client that gets them fully fit and military ready to defend and protect Australia. Working with motivated clients, you will develop, implement, and monitor their rehabilitation plans whilst having onsite access to medical and treatment providers (Doctors, Physio’s, Psychologist, etc.) for additional direct support.

You will be working with clients primarily based on the Oakey Army Aviation Centre with some travel required to support clients across the Amberley and Toowoomba region. A pool car is available.

What will make you successful:

Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ASORC, ESSA)

Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy

Robust clinical reasoning





Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal

Experience in conducting various clinical assessments

Passion to help people rehabilitate
