About the role
We are seeking passionate enrolled nurses looking to make a difference in someone's life. Our client is an individual living at home with a spinal injury and brain injury. The right candidates for this role will:
Be willing to learn and grow on the job
Offered client specific training
Have experience in tracheostomy care
Exposure to ventilated clients (preferred)
Experience in brain injury and complex behaviours (preferred but not essential)
Experience with manual handling techniques (hoists)
Exceptional critical thinking and time management skills
Available for shifts across a 24/7 rotating roster including active nights
Duties Include:
Airway assistance and management
Tracheostomy care and maintenance
Continual clinical assessment of client
Personal care including skin integrity management and pressure area care
Assisting alongside the Support Worker with ADL's
Supporting the client with activities at home and out in community
About you
Current AHPRA Registration
Full Australian Driver's License
NDIS Workers Screening Check and/or DCSI
English Fluency - verbal and written
