About the role
/n Cochrane’s Transport is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join our team at our Gillman Depot. This role will support the day-to-day transport operations by providing excellent customer service, coordinating freight enquiries and assisting with general depot administration. /n /n This is a permanent full-time position, working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday. /n /n About you: /n /n
- Passionate about customer service, with transport industry experience highly regarded but not essential. /n
- Resourceful and proactive,



with the ability to navigate systems, find information and resolve customer enquiries efficiently. /n
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks in a fast-paced environment. /n
- An active listener with robust verbal and written communication skills. /n
- Calm and resilient under pressure, with the ability to handle challenging customer interactions professionally. /n
- Committed to continuous improvement, with the ability to identify opportunities and implement practical solutions. /n
- A team player who is motivated to contribute to the success of the wider team. /n /n /n
