/n Are you a high school student looking to get a head start in the business and retail world? MRAEL, in partnership with Lawrence & Hanson, is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated student to join the team as a School-Based Retail Trainee /n This position is suitable for students currently in year 10 or 11 at school. /n Lawrence & Hanson is a leading electrical wholesaler. This means you will be working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where no two days are the same. If you are willing to learn, our friendly team is committed to investing in your development and providing a safe, supportive space for you to grow. /n What You Will Be Doing: /n This hands-on role covers everything it takes to run a busy store. Your daily duties will include: /n /n
- Customer Service: Greeting customers with a smile, helping them find what they need, serving them, and processing purchases through the system. /n
- Stock Control: Unpacking deliveries and boxes, counting stock, stacking shelves, and packing products. /n
- Computer Work: Handling basic data entry and completing your online training and induction modules. /n
- Store Upkeep: Keeping the store looking its best by wiping shelves, sweeping, and organising stock. /n /n What We Are Looking For: /n /n
- Previous customer service experience (even a little bit) is a big plus. /n
- Basic computer skills to help you navigate the systems and online training. /n
- This is a physical role You must be physically fit and able to lift, move, and sort stock weighing 5–10kg unaided. /n
