Must Have Skills:
5+ years of experience in DNS operations/support , with at least 2-3 years at L3 level

Solid hands on experience with BIND (open source DNS)

Deep understanding of:

DNS protocol internals

Authoritative vs Recursive DNS

TTL, caching behavior, and query resolution flow

Strong Linux/Unix system administration experience

Strong networking fundamentals:

TCP/IP, UDP

Latency and routing behavior

Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with Anycast DNS deployments

Exposure to other DNS software: Unbound, PowerDNS, Knot DNS

Automation and scripting (Shell, Python, Ansible)

Monitoring tools:

- Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix

ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management experience)
