We are looking for an experiencedSenior QA Automation Engineer with a robust background in software quality assurance and test automation. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites for web applications and APIs. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our software products, focusing on automation, framework development, and comprehensive testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web applications and APIs using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and create test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Work with existing automation frameworks or design frameworks tailored to meet specific project needs.
- Perform API testing using tools likePostman andSoapUI and ensure thorough test coverage for RESTful services.
- Conduct database testing, including SQL querying, to validate data integrity and transactions.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such asTeamCity orJenkins for continuous testing.
- Generate detailed test reports and summaries using reporting tools such asJUnit orTestNG .
- Apply a strong understanding of web technologies, includingHTML ,CSS ,
andJavaScript , to verify UI components and interactions.
- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams, actively participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
Mandatory Skills
- 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
- Proficiency inJava and hands-on experience withSelenium for web and UI testing.
- Expertise inAPI Testing and experience with relevant tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
- Strong background inDatabase Testing with solid SQL skills.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools likeTeamCity orJenkins .
- Proficiency in reporting tools such asJUnit orTestNG .
Desired Skills
- Experience with object-oriented programming and proficiency inJava (experience withC# orSpecflow is a plus).
- Familiarity with additional test automation tools likeLeanFT orCucumber .
- Experience with theBanking domain orCloud applications .
- Working knowledge ofAgile/Scrum methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in QA automation or programming languages are an advantage.
