Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role combines financial accounting, payroll oversight, reporting, and business partnering responsibilities within a small, cooperative finance team

Description

Month-end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations

Fixed asset register management

Budgeting and forecasting support

Audit preparation and year-end activities

ELT cost-centre reporting and business partnering

Weekly expenditure analysis and variance investigation

Review and approve payroll processed by the Bookkeeper

Manage payroll adjustments, leave entitlements, allowances and related reconciliations

Support end-to-end payroll activities when required

Accounts payable and receivable oversight

BAS, tax, superannuation and regulatory lodgements





Supporting finance systems, policies and process improvements

Profile

Experience using Xero

Strong payroll experience (ideally end-to-end)

Min 2-5+ years' accounting experience

CA/CPA qualified is desirable

Experience across month-end reporting, reconciliations, payroll, AP/AR, and audit support

Strong communication skills and ability to partner with senior stakeholders

Hands-on attitude and willingness to work in a growing organisation

Job Offer

Competitive salary package between $115,000 and $135,000 + superannuation.

Part time 4 days (hybrid work 2 days from home)
