HOST – Islandwide / Hamilton Island

Hamilton Island is seeking experienced and polished Hosts to join our Front Office teams across our island accommodation. As one of the first points of contact for our guests, you'll create memorable first impressions, deliver seamless arrivals and departures, and provide warm, personalised service throughout their stay. Your Role

As a Host, you'll be the welcoming face of Hamilton Island, ensuring every guest receives friendly, professional and attentive service from arrival through to departure. You'll coordinate check-ins, room allocations, guest enquiries and special requests while working closely with other departments to deliver seamless and memorable experiences across our hotels and resorts.

Where you’ll make an impact

- Welcome guests and deliver professional, personalised check-in and departure experiences

- Coordinate room allocations, reservations and guest requests with accuracy

- Maintain guest records, accounts and payments in accordance with Front Office procedures

- Respond promptly to guest enquiries,



concerns and special requests

- Liaise with Housekeeping, Porters and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences

- Provide guests with information and recommendations about island facilities, activities and services

What we’re looking for

You are a confident and approachable hospitality professional who genuinely enjoys creating memorable guest experiences. With excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and a polished presentation, you thrive in a busy Front Office environment and take pride in delivering exceptional service.

To be successful, you will need:

- Current Open/Unrestricted Driver Licence held for a minimum of 3 years (Essential)

- Eligibility to obtain a Restricted Driver Authorisation (RDA) (Essential)

- Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol (Essential)

- Certificate III, IV or Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent

- Knowledge of hotel Front Office systems and procedures

- Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills
