Occupational Therapist – Full Time
Blacktown & Surrounding Areas | Hybrid WFH + Community | 1–2 Days Penrith Clinic
A full-time OT role with flexibility, support and genuine team connection.
Aligned OT is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our growing paediatric team in a full-time hybrid position, supporting children and families across Blacktown and surrounding suburbs.
We know flexibility is key, but so is having the support, mentoring and systems around you to do your job well.
That's why we've designed this role to offer both.
You'll spend approximately 3–4 days per week working from home and within the Blacktown community, with 1–2 days per week based at our Penrith clinic alongside the Aligned OT team.
You'll have the independence to manage a community caseload while being backed by consistent mentoring, regular clinical support and dedicated administration support.
What your week could look like3–4 days – Blacktown & surrounding suburbs
Your community days will primarily involve supporting children within their natural environments, including:
- Schools
- Preschools and daycares
- Family homes
- Community settings
Between appointments, you'll have the flexibility to work from home to complete your clinical documentation, planning and other non-client work, rather than travelling back to the Penrith clinic.
We aim to build your community caseload geographically around Blacktown and surrounding suburbs, helping to reduce unnecessary travel and create a practical working week.
1–2 days – Penrith Clinic
Your clinic days provide the opportunity to work alongside the Aligned OT team, see clinic-based clients, collaborate with other clinicians and enjoy the social side of being part of a workplace.
You'll have access to our purpose-designed paediatric clinic, therapy spaces and resources, while having regular opportunities for face-to-face collaboration and support.
We believe this creates the best of both worlds — flexibility without losing team connection or clinical support.
You're supported behind the scenes
We don't expect our clinicians to do everything themselves.
Administration support is provided, helping with the day-to-day administrative tasks involved in managing a caseload so you can spend more of your time focused on your clients,
clinical planning and professional development.
You'll also receive consistent, regular mentoring and clinical support.
Whether you want to discuss a complex client, work through an assessment, develop your clinical reasoning, review a report or simply bounce an idea off another OT, you'll have people around you to support you.
We want our clinicians to feel comfortable asking questions and continuing to develop — regardless of how experienced they are.
