A Hire Controller role gives you a front-row view of how a hire business runs: customers, equipment, transport, branch operations and the people who keep it all moving.

It’s a solid foundation for someone who wants to grow in the industry.

This business has branches across Australia, creating room to broaden your experience and work towards future opportunities in branch management, operations or sales.

You’ll help deliver excellent customer service while building practical knowledge of rental equipment used for material movement.

It’s a varied, hands-on role where you’ll work across hire operations, yard coordination and branch administration.

In a nutshell, you will:

- Support hire operations and keep communication clear between customers and internal teams
- Match customer demand with equipment availability
- Prepare hire agreements, quotes and invoices, and complete other administration
- Assist with branch asset management and equipment availability




- Coordinate daily transport allocations and rosters for internal and external parties
- Support yard staff, stocking activities, and the safe storage and maintenance of equipment

What we’re looking for:

- Experience in a sales coordination, hire coordination, transport or allocator role
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach
- An enthusiastic, driven person who wants to build a long-term career in equipment hire
- The ability to manage competing priorities and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
- Someone with the confidence and ambition to take on more responsibility and lead a team
