About Little Legends

Little Legends Sports Camp is a growing children's multi-sports camp business providing fun, active and engaging school holiday programs for children aged 5–12.

Our two-day camps involve a variety of sports, team games, challenges and activities designed to build confidence, friendships and a love of being active.

Following our successful September camps, we're expanding and looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team!

About the Role

We're looking for a passionate Sports Camp Leader who is interested in developing into a Camp Coordinator, with the opportunity to independently lead future Little Legends camps.

You'll initially work alongside the business owner during our January 2027 camps (6 days mid Jan at Kyneton and Ararat Sports Camp), receiving paid, hands-on training in how our programs operate.

As your confidence and experience grow, there will be opportunities to take on greater leadership responsibilities during future school holidays.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and assist with fun, age-appropriate sporting activities and group games.
- Create a positive, inclusive and safe environment for children aged 5–12.
- Manage groups of children and encourage teamwork, participation and positive behaviour.
- Support camp setup, equipment organisation and daily schedules.
- Assist with parent communication, sign-in/out procedures and child safety requirements.
- Progress towards coordinating camp activities and supervising other coaches.

About You

We'd love to hear from someone who:





- Is a qualified PE teacher, primary school teacher or experienced children's sports coach.
- Is confident and enthusiastic working with groups of children.
- Has strong communication, organisation and leadership skills.
- Is reliable, responsible, energetic and approachable.
- Can adapt activities to suit different ages and abilities.
- Holds an appropriate Working with Children clearance or applicable teacher registration.
- Holds current First Aid and CPR qualifications, or is willing to obtain them before commencing.
- Has reliable transport and availability during school holidays.
