The Station Grocer Wollongbar (Lismore Rd) is looking for a reliable, customer-focused team member to join our casual team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping things organised and clean, takes pride in delivering great customer service, and can confidently manage a shift from the middle of the day through to closing.

The Role

- Shifts: 11:00 am–6:00 pm and 2:00 pm–11:00 pm, with 3–4 shifts per week.
- Weekday rate: $36.85/hour for employees aged 20+.
- Weekend rate: $48.07/hour for employees aged 20+.
- Independent work: You may be required to work independently after 4:00 pm.
- Must be 18+: Due to the requirement to work independently.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll help keep the store running smoothly throughout your shift, whether you're working during the day, afternoon or evening. Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing friendly, efficient customer service.
- Processing payments for fuel, food and convenience products.
- Operating the till and completing end-of-shift reconciliation.
- Completing shift handovers and closing procedures as required.
- Restocking and rotating products.
- Keeping the store and forecourt clean, safe and presentable.
- Maintaining store standards during busy periods and quieter shifts.
- Working independently and confidently when required.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

- Experienced in a customer-facing role.
- Comfortable operating a till and handling money.
- Confident with basic maths.




- A valuable communicator with a positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual and dependable.
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
- Available to work a mix of day, afternoon and evening shifts, including weekends.
- A genuine team player who takes pride in their work.
