Child Australia is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Director to join our dedicated team.

This leadership role offers an opportunity to support the day-to-day operations of the service while fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment for children, families, and educators.

Working closely with the Centre Director, you will help lead a team of educators, champion quality practices, and support the delivery of exceptional early childhood education and care.

What You Need to Succeed in the Role:

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification) as a minimum.
- Previous experience in a leadership or senior educator role within an early childhood setting.
- Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Regulations, and Child Protected practices.
- Strong communication, interpersonal,



and leadership skills.
- Ability to build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
