Zambrero is a quick-service restaurant franchise serving fresh, Mexican-inspired food, including burritos, bowls, tacos and nachos. It combines convenient, freshly prepared meals with a mission to help fight world hunger.

About the role

As a Team Member, you will help create a welcoming experience for customers by providing friendly service, preparing quality food and keeping the restaurant clean and organised. You will work across different areas of the restaurant and support your teammates to keep service running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

- Welcome customers, take orders and answer questions about the menu.
- Prepare and assemble meals according to Zambrero recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards.
- Prepare fresh ingredients and anticipate preparation needs during busy periods.
- Operate the point-of-sale system, process payments and handle cash accurately.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen, service counter, dining areas and general restaurant.
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.




- Communicate effectively with colleagues and support the team during busy service periods.
- Follow Zambrero procedures to deliver consistent food quality and customer service.

About you

You are friendly, reliable and enthusiastic about working with people. You bring a positive attitude, communicate clearly and enjoy contributing to a team.

You should be able to multitask, adapt to a busy restaurant workplace and take pride in maintaining a clean, professional appearance. A willingness to learn and availability for the restaurant’s required shifts are also important.

Previous hospitality, retail or customer service experience is an advantage, but some locations welcome applicants seeking their first job and provide full training.
