About the Role:
MSS Security is looking for Security Officers to join our team at a Paediatric Hospital. This role involves working across multiple areas of the hospital, including patrols, the control room, and high-risk wards. We are seeking candidates with prior hospital security experience who can operate confidently in a rapid-paced, high-responsibility environment, while maintaining the safety and well-being of patients, visitors, and staff. This role requires flexibility and availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster.

This position offers a Level 4 pay rate of $28.86 per hour, plus super and shift penalties where applicable.

Duties included but are not limited to:

- Conduct internal and external patrols of hospital grounds, buildings, and high-risk wards to ensure security and safety.
- Monitor CCTV footage, investigate incidents as required, and respond promptly to alarm panels and duress devices, ensuring accurate reporting of all events.
- Manage access control and verify the identification of all individuals entering hospital premises.
- Ensure the safety, comfort,



and well-being of patients, visitors, and staff, including de-escalating volatile situations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to staff, patients, and visitors, ensuring a positive and supportive experience.

Requirements:

- Full Australian Working Rights
- Victorian Security License with the control room operator subcategory
- Certificate II in Security Operations (Or higher)
- Employee Working with Children’s Check (Or willing to obtain)
- Drivers License
- First Aid & CPR
- 2 Covid-19 vaccinations along with 1 booster, and seasonal influenza vaccinations required
- Experience working in security within a hospital or healthcare facility
- 24*7 Availability
