At Family First Dental - Engadine and Kareela Family Dental, we believe great dentistry starts with great support.

We're a family-focused, privately owned practice in Sydney's Sutherland Shire, offering a broad scope of general and advanced dentistry in a modern, well-equipped environment. We're looking for an experienced Associate Dentist to join our team and take on an established patient base, with a particular focus on implant dentistry, oral surgery, prosthodontics and complex rehabilitation cases.

This opportunity would suit a clinician who has developed strong clinical foundations, is confident managing more involved treatment and is looking for a practice where they can continue refining their skills while contributing to a collaborative team.

The chance

You'll be joining an established practice with an existing caseload and patients requiring ongoing general and advanced dental treatment. We're seeking a clinician who can confidently manage this scope of care from the outset, while continuing to develop professionally within a supportive clinical environment.

Our practice offers a broad range of dentistry, including:

- General and restorative dentistry
- Implant dentistry, including surgical placement and prosthetic restoration
- Oral surgery, including wisdom teeth removal
- Prosthodontic treatment and complex rehabilitation
- Fixed and removable orthodontics
- IV and nitrous oxide sedation, with access to general anaesthetic facilities

Our modern clinic is equipped with CBCT, OPG and lateral cephalometric imaging, intraoral scanners, 3D printers, rotary endodontics and DSLR clinical photography to support high-quality patient care.

About you

We're looking for a general dentist with at least two years of clinical experience who can demonstrate experience and confidence in:

- Implant placement and implant dentistry
- Oral surgery, including the management of more involved surgical cases
- Prosthodontic treatment and complex restorative rehabilitation
- Managing a varied caseload, including general dentistry

You'll also value ethical, patient-centred care, communicate confidently with patients, welcome collaboration and feedback, and enjoy contributing to a team that prioritises ongoing learning and clinical development.





We're particularly interested in clinicians who can bring established skills and experience to the practice while remaining motivated to learn, share knowledge and continue progressing in their careers.

Position details

- Location: Sutherland Shire, Sydney
- Engagement: Associate Dentist under a Service and Facilities Agreement (SFA)
- Days: Three days per week to start, negotiable for the right candidate
- Remuneration: Commission-based, with a sliding scale of up to 41%, subject to the SFA
- Start date: Flexible, by agreement
- Experience: Minimum two years' clinical experience, with demonstrated experience in implant placement, oral surgery, prosthodontics and rehabilitation
