About the Role

As a Retail Trade Salesperson at Sydney Tools Roselands Commercial,



you'll play an important role in delivering outstanding customer service, driving sales and helping customers find the right tools and equipment for their needs.

You'll work with a diverse customer base, including professional tradespeople, contractors and commercial businesses, providing practical product advice and building lasting customer relationships.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys a fast-paced retail workplace, thrives on achieving sales targets and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Deliver exceptional customer service to trade and commercial customers.
- Recommend suitable tools, equipment and accessories based on customer requirements.
- Develop solid relationships with customers to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
- Proactively identify sales opportunities and contribute to store performance.
- Work towards individual and team sales targets.
- Maintain strong product knowledge across leading tool and equipment brands.
- Assist with merchandising, stock presentation and showroom standards.
- Process sales transactions and respond to customer enquiries efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve store objectives.

Roster: Permanent full-time position operating on an 11-day rotating roster,



including one weekend day each week.

What We're Looking For We're seeking someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a genuine passion for customer service and sales.

Ideally, you'll have:

- Experience in retail sales, trade sales, hardware, tools or a similar customer-facing environment.
- Alternatively, a trade background and an interest in transitioning into retail sales.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to engage with a wide range of customers.
- A proactive, results-driven approach and motivation to achieve sales targets.
- An interest in tools, power equipment and the building or construction industry.
- The ability to work effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer skills and the willingness to learn new systems.
- A reliable work ethic, professional attitude and willingness to learn.

Previous tool industry experience is highly regarded but not essential. We'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
