Role Overview:
The Accounts Payable and Project Officer is responsible for the accurate payment of UnitingSA invoices to suppliers which includes data entry, costing of invoices to the appropriate departments, ensuring the GST is accurate, processing payments and reconciling of supplier accounts. Management of the corporate credit card process within the organisation. The role is also responsible for project work including process mapping, requirements gathering and user acceptance testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated experience in injury management, claims management and return to work within a self-insured setting.
- Demonstrated experience in the management of early intervention and rehabilitation services.
- Demonstrated experience in the management of claims to reduce workers compensation costs and improve outcomes for injured workers and UnitingSA.
- Proven experience liaising with leaders, statutory authorities, the medical profession, Return To Work South Australia (RTWSA) staff and other stakeholders.
- Experience in managing medico-legal matters and representing at SA Employment Tribunal.
Skills & Experience:
- Ensure that supplier details in TechOne are maintained and up to date
- Process invoices and accounts according to policies and procedures for UnitingSA, UnitingSA Housing and Wesley Social Enterprise
- Ensure UnitingSA, UnitingSA Housing and Wesley Social Enterprise creditors are processed and paid accurately and in a timely manner according to trading terms
- Process adhoc and weekly payments to suppliers
- Produce and distribute cheques and remittance advices
- Conduct analysis of business operations, workflows and data to identify trends, gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to ensure accessibility of quality information
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve productivity, service quality and performance.
- Support and advise on the preparation of project
