The job

You’ll spend most of your week in the warehouse. Our furniture is big and heavy, and most orders ship in several cartons, so getting every order out complete and on time takes real skill. The rest of your time is at the desk: booking deliveries, updating orders, answering customer questions and sorting things out when something goes wrong.
If you spot a better way to do something, tell us. There’s a good chance we’ll say “great, let’s do that.”
What you’ll be doing
In the warehouse

- Picking, packing and preparing multi-carton orders for courier pickup
- Unloading containers and receiving new stock
- Keeping stock locations and counts accurate
- Checking returns and damaged goods, and recording what happened
- Keeping the warehouse tidy and protected

At the desk

- Booking courier pickups and updating orders in Shopify
- Answering customer emails and calls about orders and deliveries
- Chasing up missing parts, damage claims and delivery issues until they’re resolved
- Keeping records and stock information up to date

You’ll suit this job if you:

- Have experience in a warehouse, dispatch, logistics or another hands-on role
- Are fit and happy doing physical work.



You’ll regularly move cartons up to 35kg, and bigger pieces are equipment assisted lifts or two-person lifts.
- Are careful. Sending the wrong carton means an unhappy customer and an expensive return trip.
- Are comfortable on a computer and can write a clear, friendly email
- Would rather sort out a problem than wait to be told what to do
- Are available at least 3 days a week, Monday to Friday

Furniture or homewares experience, or a customer service background would all be a big plus.

What you get

- $34–38/hr casual rate + super, depending on experience
- Weekday hours, no weekends our open times are Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm

Pay: $34.00 – $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
