About your new role

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will join Pacific National's P&C; team based in North Sydney or at our Newcastle Terminal for a 6-month max term contract, with a view of extension.

This is a true partnering role where you'll work closely with leaders across diverse business areas to attract, engage and secure top talent. Managing end-to-end recruitment across both operational and corporate portfolios, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional hiring outcomes whilst creating a positive candidate experience.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will:

- Manage end-to-end recruitment across operational, technical, professional and corporate roles
- Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
- Source and engage talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, talent pipelines and proactive market mapping
- Provide market insights, recruitment advice and hiring recommendations to stakeholders
- Facilitate candidate screening, interviewing, offer management and onboarding activities




- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle
- Build and maintain talent pools to support current and future workforce requirements
- Collaborate with the broader People & Culture team on talent attraction initiatives and continuous improvement projects
- Maintain accurate recruitment data and reporting within recruitment systems

What we're looking for

- Full Australian working rights
- Previous experience managing end-to-end recruitment in either an internal Talent Acquisition, RPO or agency environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously
- Solid stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Experience sourcing candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other attraction channels
- Strong communication, organisation and influencing skills
- A customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding hiring experiences
- Experience recruiting within logistics, transport, industrial, engineering or other blue-collar environments will be highly regarded
