About the roles

We have Section Supervisor positions available in two sections:

- Baking: lead the team turning prepared dough into finished product, managing oven schedules, bake quality and consistency across every batch.
- Packing: lead the team getting finished product packed, labelled and ready for dispatch, with a focus on accuracy, presentation and on-time orders.

In either role, you’ll lead your section during your shift, reporting to the Section Manager. You’ll coordinate production, allocate tasks across the team, and make sure everything meets our food safety and quality standards. You’ll also be the section’s qualified buddy and trainer, helping new and developing team members build their skills.

What you’ll do

- Lead your section on shift and deliver the shift’s production targets
- Run start-of-shift briefings covering targets, quality focus and safety
- Allocate people and tasks across the section, and coordinate with the other sections to keep production flowing




- Learn and master all 3 of our factory sections from preparing large batches of cookie dough, mixing douhg, and baking the cookies to packing and labelling orders to be sent to our clients. gh
- Make sure food safety, allergen and hygiene procedures are followed, carry out quality checks, and make the call to hold product when needed
- Check that production and cleaning records are completed every shift
- Train and buddy new and junior team members, run Week 1 check-ins for recent starters, and track progress against skills checklists
- Recommend team members for sign-offs and progression, and raise attendance or performance concerns with the Section Manager
- Solve production issues on shift and escalate when needed

What you’ll bring

- Previous supervisor experience in a bakery or pick-packer environment
- Strong knowledge of food production, food safety and quality control
- Confidence leading a team on the floor and allocating work under time pressure
- Patience and skill in training others
- A practical, calm approach to solving problems as they come up
