Starting your career? We offer tailored mentoring and professional development for new graduates to help you build clinical confidence, strengthen your skills and grow into your role.

A role with purpose and flexibility

Healthy Connections is the allied health service of Burnie Brae, a community-focused not-for-profit supporting people across North Brisbane and Moreton Bay to live active, independent and connected lives.

Based out of our Chermside clinic, you’ll deliver community-based services under NDIS, CHSP and SAH, helping clients maintain independence, participate in everyday activities and live safely in their own homes.

We offer full-time and part-time opportunities, with appointment schedules negotiated around practitioner preferences and client needs.

You’ll work alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists, Allied Health Assistants and Remedial Massage Therapists, sharing knowledge and coordinating care to support better outcomes.

- Educate clients, families and carers about safe transfers, pressure care, pacing and recommended interventions.

- Prepare clear clinical reports supporting recommendations for equipment, modifications and therapy.

- Liaise with Care Partners and relevant stakeholders to coordinate recommendations and client care.

- Maintain accurate, timely clinical records and meet relevant funding and service requirements.

- Contribute to multidisciplinary care, quality improvement and the development of new occupational therapy services.

Your caseload will include clients accessing NDIS or aged care services through My Aged Care, including Support at Home, as well as brokered and private arrangements.
