We're seeking an AI & Digital Innovation Lead to help define and execute this journey.

This is not a traditional IT role. You'll be responsible for identifying opportunities where AI, automation, digital workflows and emerging technologies can create real business value across the organisation. In some cases this may involve developing solutions in-house. In others, it may involve working with trusted technology partners, evaluating platforms, integrating systems, or implementing best-fit solutions.

The role

You'll spend your first few months learning how a construction business really runs: site visits, process mapping, understanding our data and systems. From there, you'll design and build the platform underneath the agents (orchestration, memory, integrations, permissions), get the first agents live on real processes, and bring our IT team along so we can run and grow it ourselves.

What you bring

- Hands-on experience shipping production software (Python or TypeScript, APIs, databases, cloud)
- Real experience building with LLMs: agents, retrieval (RAG), tool use and evaluation
- A security-first mindset:



access control, audit logging, handling commercially sensitive data
- The ability to explain complex ideas plainly to a site manager and a director alike
- A curious mind that wants to learn how buildings actually get built. Construction experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
