About Bowden Football
Bowden Football is one of Brisbane's fastest-growing private football (soccer) academies, providing high-quality player development opportunities for young footballers.
Operating from our dedicated indoor football (soccer) facility in Redcliffe, we provide a professional, energetic and challenging training environment where players can develop their individual technical ability, confidence and understanding of the game.
As our academy continues to grow, we're looking for a passionate and technically strong Academy Football (Soccer) Coach to join our coaching team.
About the Role
The successful applicant will primarily coach within our Player Development Program at our indoor facility in Redcliffe, with additional opportunities to assist at academy competitions, weekend training and individual coaching sessions.
Our sessions focus heavily on developing players' individual technical ability, including:
- Dribbling and ball mastery
- Passing and receiving
- First touch and ball control
- Shooting and finishing
- 1v1 attacking and defending
- Technical execution under pressure
A major focus of our academy is maintaining a high-intensity training environment. We're looking for a coach who can lead energetic, challenging sessions, set high standards and consistently push players to improve.
What We're Looking For

- Is enthusiastic, reliable, professional and passionate about developing young footballers.
- Can work effectively alongside other coaches and contribute positively to our academy environment.
We'd particularly love to hear from current or former competitive football (soccer) players who have strong technical ability and an interest in developing the next generation of players.
Previous coaching experience is highly regarded, but we're also open to quality players who are looking to develop their coaching skills.
A Football Australia C Licence is desirable but not essential.
Most importantly, we want someone who can demonstrate quality football techniques, coach with energy and maintain high standards throughout every session.
