About the RoleAs the on-site face of our IT deployments, you will transform new and existing commercial spaces into fully operational technology environments. Your work will cover the complete site-build lifecycle—from installing network racks and structured cabling to deploying computers, switches, wireless access points, and CCTV systems.

This role suits someone who enjoys practical problem-solving, takes pride in organised racks and cabling, and values the satisfaction of testing and commissioning a newly deployed network.

Key Responsibilities· New office and site setups: Assemble and securely wall-mount data racks and enclosures in server rooms and communications closets.

· Structured cabling: Run, route, terminate, test, and label Cat6 and Cat6A cabling, including RJ45 connectors, keystone jacks, and patch panels.

· Rack installation and cleanup: Organise legacy cabling, install horizontal and vertical cable management, and neatly rack network switches, routers, and UPS units.





· Network and wireless deployment: Install wireless access points, perform continuity testing, verify ISP gateway connectivity, and check wireless signal strength.

· CCTV and IP security installation: Mount and align IP cameras, configure PoE connectivity, and connect devices to NVRs or cloud-based platforms.

· PC and endpoint deployment: Stage and connect desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals, then complete basic operating-system configuration and confirm network access.

What We Are Looking For· Hands-on experience: At least two years of experience in structured cabling, low-voltage installations, data-centre environments, or IT field-service deployments.

· Physical capability: Confidence using power tools, working safely on ladders, and lifting equipment weighing up to 20 kg.

· Networking fundamentals: A sound understanding of physical network layers, PoE, switch-port patching, and network diagnostic tools.

· Attention to detail: A methodical approach to cable management, rack layouts, equipment alignment, testing, and labelling.

· Driver’s licence: A valid, clean driver’s licence is required to operate the company vehicle.

· Professional communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to represent the company confidently at client sites.

Highly Regarded· Relevant Australian open cabling registration.

· Applicable security installer licences.
