About the Position Our client is looking for a capable and motivated Dental Assistant with at least two years of experience to join our clients' team.
This role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys clinical variety, takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care and is keen to broaden their experience across different areas of dentistry.
You'll work closely with experienced Dentists, providing chairside assistance with a range of general and cosmetic dental treatments, while gaining further exposure to the day-to-day operations of a busy practice.
The position also includes reception support, giving you the opportunity to build on your patient communication, appointment coordination and administrative skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing chairside support during general and cosmetic dental treatments
- Assisting with procedures including veneers, fillings, crowns, restorative treatments and preventative care
- Preparing instruments, materials and equipment for clinical procedures
- Maintaining excellent infection control and sterilisation standards
- Supporting Dentists with efficient treatment delivery and patient management
- Assisting with reception operations, appointment scheduling and patient enquiries
- Contributing to the overall efficiency and smooth running of a busy multi-chair practice
- Working collaboratively with the clinical and administrative teams
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant
- Strong clinical knowledge and confidence with chairside assisting
- Previous exposure to cosmetic or restorative dentistry highly regarded
- Excellent knowledge of infection control procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-chair environment
- Confidence with patient communication and reception responsibilities
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proactive attitude and willingness to take on varied responsibilities

- Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays

Practice Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 7:45 am – 5:15 pm
- Saturdays: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm (1–2 per month)
