About the Position Our client is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant with at least two years of hands-on experience to support its busy clinical team.
This role offers plenty of variety, with the opportunity to assist across general and cosmetic dental procedures, including veneers, restorative treatments, dental examinations and other routine dental services.
Working within a busy seven-chair practice, you'll play an important role in ensuring efficient clinical operations while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

The successful candidate will also provide support to the reception team when required, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and is confident working across both clinical and administrative responsibilities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Providing chairside assistance to Dentists during general and cosmetic procedures, including veneers and restorative dentistry
- Preparing treatment rooms, instruments and equipment for dental procedures
- Maintaining excellent infection control and sterilisation standards
- Supporting smooth patient flow across a busy seven-chair practice
- Ensuring patients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their appointments
- Assisting with dental reception duties, including appointment scheduling,



patient enquiries and administrative tasks
- Working collaboratively with Dentists, fellow Dental Assistants and reception staff

Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in Australia
- Strong chairside assisting skills across general dentistry, with cosmetic experience highly regarded
- Confidence in supporting reception duties when required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of infection control and sterilisation protocols
- Ability to multitask and remain organised in a fast-paced dental setting
- A friendly, professional and patient-focused approach
- Full Australian working rights (essential)
- Own reliable transport is essential due to limited public transport accessibility
- Flexibility to work 1–2 Saturdays per month

Working Hours:

- Monday to Friday: 7:45 am – 5:15 pm
- Saturdays: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm (1–2 Saturdays per month)
