Ready to put your leadership skills to work where they'll make a real difference? We're looking for an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager for a 12-week locum contract with a not-for-profit aged care provider in the Northern Territory.
You'll support the day-to-day running of residential aged care services across two small sized sites. You'll lead RN's and PCW's, and keep both care quality and funding on track.
The contract
- Duration: 12 weeks, finishing early January 2027
- Accommodation: Included in the package
- Travel: Covered from your nearest capital city airport to site and return
What you'll be doing
- Leading, coordinating and mentoring a clinical team of Registered Nurses and Personal Care Workers
- Overseeing daily resident care, clinical documentation and care evaluations
- Driving AN-ACC accuracy and completing quarterly reporting
- Monitoring staffing against occupancy and acuity, and managing backfill
- Keeping care aligned with the Aged Care Quality Standards and leading continuous improvement
- Stepping onto the floor as an RN when the team needs you
What you'll bring
- Recent experience as a CNM,
Clinical Care Coordinator or similar aged care leadership role
- Robust working knowledge of AN-ACC funding and quarterly reporting
- Recent hands-on management of clinical staff
- A calm, adaptable and culturally respectful approach (remote or Indigenous aged care experience is highly regarded)
Mandatory compliance
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration
- First Aid (within 3 years)
- CPR certificate within 12 months
- NDIS Worker Screening
- Current year flu vaccination
- National Police Check
