About the Role

As an Early Childhood Educator at Wonderland Academy, you will play an important role in supporting children's learning, wellbeing and development. You will work collaboratively with a passionate team to create meaningful learning experiences and foster positive relationships with children and families.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and implement engaging, play-based educational programs that support children's individual interests, strengths and developmental needs.

- Create a safe, welcoming, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

- Build warm, respectful and responsive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

- Observe, document and reflect on children's learning and development.

- Support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of the centre's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).

- Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

- Maintain accurate documentation and follow relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.





- Promote child safety, wellbeing, inclusion and positive behaviour guidance at all times.

About You

We are looking for educators who are passionate about early childhood education and committed to making a positive difference in children's lives.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or be currently studying towards a recognised qualification as a trainee.

- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- A commitment to providing high-quality education and care.

- A willingness to learn, reflect and participate in ongoing professional development.

- A current NSW Working With Children Check, or the ability to obtain one.

- Current First Aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis management training, as required for the position.

- Relevant child protection training, child safety training and a commitment to maintaining a child-safe environment.

Previous experience in an early childhood education and care setting is desirable. We also welcome motivated trainees who are eager to learn and develop their skills with the support of an experienced team.
