The Simply Goldstar Production Supervisor is responsible for directing and optimizing daily manufacturing workflows. Working closely with operators, and cross-functional teams, this role ensures operational excellence, financial efficiency, and total customer satisfaction. As a critical thinker and key operational point of contact, the supervisor fosters a culture of continuous improvement, team development, and proactive problem resolution.

Key Job Functions

- Directly report to and support the General Manager of the site.
- Supervise daily production operations to ensure schedules are efficiently executed on time and within budget.
- Drive performance across operational units, achieving or exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in safety, quality, delivery, and cost control.
- Oversee inventory management and collaborate with Maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize operational downtime.
- Partner with maintenance and quality control teams to consistently uphold Vista's product standards and customer experience.
- Lead teams with empathy, passion, and strong interpersonal commitment.
- Maintain full compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies.

Leading the Production Operations Function:

- Contribute to developing and executing strategic business initiatives and operational best practices.
- Champion creative solutions to enhance market competitiveness within the production function.
- Participate in workforce strategy planning, resource management, and budgeting.
- Empower operators through continuous coaching, upskilling, and active people management support.




- Promote and cultivate a sustainable continuous improvement mindset across all teams.

Stakeholder Management:

- Build and nurture robust relationships with key internal and external partners to optimize performance.
- Ensure transparent and thorough communication with shift leads and stakeholders regarding plant-level operational changes.
- Collaborate across APAC regional teams to minimize costs, elevate quality standards, and drive co-created operational solutions.
- Work closely with leadership and support departments including Operations team, Supply Chain, and People & Culture.

Customer Obsessed Mindset:

- Uphold rigorous product quality standards across all production lines.
- Liaise with regional and global departments to swiftly resolve customer experience issues.

Key Tasks

- Execute and maintain global quality control systems and framework standards.
- Analyze quality defects to implement effective short-term containment and long-term preventive countermeasures.
- Serve as an active champion for a strong continuous improvement culture.
- Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and log quality concerns accurately.
- Lead, mentor, and professionalize the Quality personnel team.
- Perform internal process audits to ensure ongoing integrity of the Quality Management System.




- Facilitate cross-departmental inspection meetings to resolve quality issues and raise operational awareness.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis and provide strategic recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Track, evaluate, and report on functional goals and Key Performance Indicators.
- Ensure full alignment with environmental, health, and safety protocols to protect staff and visitors.
- Conduct risk assessments on processes and tasks within the Quality department.
- Leverage data reporting to deliver actionable insights that elevate quality benchmarks and product performance.
- Maintain full accountability for quality management execution and standard compliance.
- Empower and nurture the production team by identifying high-potential talent and delivering targeted performance coaching.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for operators regarding operational roadblocks and workforce management concerns.
- Direct labor allocation, resource budgeting, and skills development initiatives to meet high seasonal demand peaks.
- Communicate organizational strategy and goals to team members with complete transparency.
- Provide constructive feedback, mentorship, and comprehensive operational support to team members.

Experience / Training

- Advanced degree or relevant professional certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven leadership experience in a production environment.
- Demonstrated background within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven expertise in applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Yellow, Green, or Black Belt preferred) and Kaizen practices.
