What you will have:

- Previous experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
- Working With Children Check is highly regarded, but not strictly needed (to be able to work at schools).
- Ability to obtain a valid Police Check
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and experience in catering to various nutritional needs
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, following proper sanitation procedures
- Familiarity with HACCP standards, WH&S; guidelines, and safe food handling practices
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

For Aged care chefs only:

- Up-to-date Covid & Flu vaccinations




- Able to work independently to prepare and cook meals for a small group of residents
- Previous experience in aged care cookery
- Able to collaborate with the care team to ensure individual dietary needs are met, including considerations for allergies, intolerances, and cultural preferences
- Genuine care and compassion for the well-being of the residents you are cooking for

Uniform: White long-sleeved Chef jacket, chef pants, knives, apron, chef hat, safety shoes
