Kitchen & Wardrobe Designer – Design and Sales

West Gosford, NSW | Full-Time | Base + Commission

Central Coast Kitchens & Wardrobes is looking for a Kitchen & Wardrobe Designer to join our growing team in West Gosford.

We design, manufacture, and install high-quality kitchens, wardrobes, office fit-outs, and custom joinery across the Central Coast. We’re after someone who knows how cabinetry is built inside and out, and who can pair that knowledge with the design and sales skills to take a client from first enquiry to signed job. Whether you’re an experienced designer or a tradesperson ready to move off the tools and into a client-facing career, we’d like to hear from you.

The Role

You’ll be the main point of contact for clients from first enquiry through to sign-off. This includes:

- Meeting clients in our showroom and in their homes to understand their needs, budget, and style

- Completing site check measures for kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, and other joinery

- Designing layouts and producing accurate quotes

- Guiding clients through material, finish, and hardware selections

- Liaising with our factory and installation teams so designs are built and installed as specified

- Managing your own sales pipeline, following up leads, and closing deals

- Drawing on your trade knowledge to give clients practical, buildable advice from the first conversation

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

- An experienced kitchen and wardrobe designer with 3+ years in design and sales, or a qualified cabinet maker or joiner with robust design software skills who is ready to move off the tools and into a sales role

- Strong in trade knowledge,



with a solid understanding of how kitchens and wardrobes are built (a trade qualification is highly regarded)

- Experienced in design software such as Cabinet Vision, Mozaik, 3d Kitchen or similar. We’ll train you in Cabinet Vision, but we’re not able to train in design software from scratch

- Able to produce clear flat drawings and hand-drawn designs to communicate ideas to clients on site

- Knowledgeable about residential building works, materials, and products, and confident answering client questions

- Confident reading and interpreting architectural plans and shop drawings

- A strong communicator who builds trust and rapport with clients

- A genuine closer who is motivated by targets and consistently delivers results

- Highly organised, with strong follow-up and problem-solving skills

- Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable managing your own workload
