We are seeking a Casual Dental Assistant (2 - 3 days per week)
* with flexibility to add additional shifts to help cover team leave when needed.
This is a varied and rewarding role within a practice that offers a broad range of treatments, including general dentistry and preventative care, orthodontics, dental implants and surgical procedures, and comprehensive restorative and cosmetic treatments. No two days are the same. Clinical days are busy, rewarding, and fast-paced, making this role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, learning new skills, and working alongside experienced clinicians.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional support to both the treating dentist and patients
- Assist with surgical procedures, including dental implants and surgical extractions
- Support both the dentist and anaesthetist during surgical procedures
- Maintain excellent communication and organisational skills in a rapid-paced environment
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
- Provide an outstanding patient experience
About you
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting (preferred)
- Experience assisting with surgical procedures,
including dental implants and surgical extractions desirable
- Confident supporting both the dentist and anaesthetist during surgical procedures
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, reliable, and committed to providing an outstanding patient experience
- Valid working rights in Australia
