About the role

Cultivate Finance Broking is seeking an Assistant Finance Broker to join our growing team in the Great Southern and the South-West. This is a position that offers flexibility with part-time hours that could work around family commitments (availability Monday to Friday preferable), whilst providing essential support to our broking operations. As an Assistant Finance Broker, you will work alongside experienced brokers to help clients navigate the finance landscape, providing administrative and client-facing support that contributes directly to successful loan outcomes. This role is integral to our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our business and residential mortgage clients.

What you'll be doing

- Supporting senior brokers with client consultations and finance application preparation

- Gathering and organising client financial documentation and information required for loan applications

- Liaising with lenders, clients and third-party service providers to progress finance applications

- Assisting with administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing client files and maintaining records

- Updating clients on application progress and responding to routine enquiries

- Supporting the preparation of loan proposals and documentation

- Providing follow up and ongoing support to existing clients

What we're looking for

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients

- Organisational and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard office software

- Willingness to develop knowledge of Australian mortgage products and lending practices

- Capacity to understand financial services compliance and responsible lending obligations





- Customer service orientation with a genuine desire to help clients achieve their financial goals

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

- Previous experience in broking, finance or customer service is desirable
