Registered & Enrolled Nurses – Casual Aged Care Agency Shifts

Preferred Care is expanding its casual nursing pool and is seeking experienced Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses for shifts across residential aged care facilities in Brisbane, Logan, Bayside and surrounding areas.

About the role

You will work across residential aged care facilities, providing safe, respectful and person-centred nursing care within your scope of practice.

Your responsibilities may include:

- Assessing and monitoring residents and responding to changes in their health or condition





- Administering medications and treatments within your scope of practice

- Providing nursing care in accordance with individualised care plans

- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation

- Reporting and escalating clinical concerns appropriately

- Working collaboratively with nursing, care and multidisciplinary teams

- Communicating respectfully with residents and their families

What you will need

- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse

- Recent Australian residential aged care nursing experience

- Current Australian working rights—sponsorship is not available for this role

- A paid NDIS Worker Screening clearance, or willingness and eligibility to obtain one

- Reliable transport to attend shifts within your preferred work areas

- Ability to meet Preferred Care and client compliance requirements
