Plumbing Apprentice: Roofing and General Plumbing | Melbourne

Scotland Marshall Plumbing does high-end residential plumbing and roofing across Melbourne. We’re a young, fast-moving crew that takes pride in the work, and we’re looking for an apprentice who wants to be properly good at this trade.

This job isn’t for you if:

- You don’t want to be on site at 6:50am with your tools out, ready to start at 7:00.

- You’re not keen on working until 3:30pm.

- You’re not interested in overtime. When the job needs it, we ask for it, and we pay double time for it.

- You only want to learn one corner of the trade. You’ll learn all of it: roughing in, fit-off, drainage, gas and roof plumbing.

- You don’t want to climb onto a roof. A big part of what we do is roofing, and you’ll be up there learning it.

- You’re not keen on working with a group of young guys, making new mates and building a crew you’d back.

- You don’t care about systems. We run on process, not guesswork.

- You’re not interested in technology. We use apps every day and we’re building AI into how we work, and you’ll be expected to use it.

- You’re not motivated to push yourself,



and the people around you, to be better.

This job is for you if:

- You turn up early, work hard and finish what you start.

- You want to learn the whole trade, not just the easy bits.

- You’re curious, you ask valuable questions, and you pick up new tools and tech quickly.

- You want to be part of a crew that holds each other to a high standard and has a good time doing it.

What you’ll need:

- A current driver’s licence

- A current white card

What you’ll get:

Timing:
We’re looking to start someone this year and carry them through into next year. We’re not shutting down over Christmas. We’ll run a skeleton crew through late December and we’re back full time on 4 January. Being available over that period is a bonus, so tell us if you are.
