About the role

Reporting directly to senior management, you will own industrial lifting projects from initial conceptual design alignment through to factory assembly, site preparation, installation, and final client commissioning. This is a hands-on position requiring a blend of strong technical coordination and robust client-facing project delivery.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee end-to-end delivery of custom overhead bridge cranes, gantry systems, jib setups, and heavy-duty wire-rope hoists.
- Program timelines for in-house manufacturing, fabricators, third-party logistics, and installation crews.
- Coordinate with client site managers to manage crane runways, rail structures, and structural steel integration without disrupting client site services.
- Serve as the single point of contact for clients, engineers, and manufacturing teams, managing expectations, variations, and major milestones.
- Ensure every phase of design, fabrication, and heavy lifting operations adheres strictly to safety management systems and relevant Australian Standards.

About you





- Proven experience in Project Management or Project Engineering within overhead cranes, heavy lifting, structural steel, or heavy industrial machinery manufacturing.
- Ability to confidently read structural blueprints and interpret engineering schematics.
- Experience managing in office safety, sub-contractors, and complex industrial installations safely.
- Outstanding negotiation, scheduling, and problem-solving abilities.
- A formal qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management (PMP) is highly regarded but secondary to solid industry experience.
