About the role

Basix Plastix is expanding and preparing to relocate operations into larger premises in Rutherford. We are looking for a friendly, motivated and sales-focused Showroom Sales Consultant to join our team. This is a varied role combining showroom sales, customer service and administration, with the opportunity to become an important part of our growing operation.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting showroom, telephone and email customers with product enquiries
- Identifying sales opportunities (leads), preparing quotes and closing sales
- Proactively following up enquiries and outstanding quotations
- Processing customer leads, quotes, orders, deposits and payments
- Providing advice on water tanks, pumps and associated products
- Using Xero for accounting and administration functions
- Using SimPRO for customer, quotation and job management functions




- Supporting the Group Sales Manager, Site Operations Manager and broader Rutherford team with general administration
- Maintaining a well-presented showroom including some reasonable manual handling

About you

- Approachable, organised, confident with customers and comfortable working in a sales environment
- Positive computer and administration skills
- Current Australian driver's licence and reliable own vehicle
- Previous experience with water tanks, pumps, plumbing or similar industries is a strong advantage
- Strong sales and customer service experience
