You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, achieving sales targets and assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the store. As Second in Charge, you must be confident working independently and taking responsibility for the store in the owner's absence.
Key responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and personalised styling advice.
- Build robust relationships with customers and encourage repeat business.
- Drive sales and confidently achieve sales targets.
- Assist the owner with daily store operations.
- Independently manage the store when required.
- Maintain attractive visual merchandising and store presentation.
- Process online orders, including picking, packing and preparing parcels for dispatch.
- Assist with stock management, deliveries and replenishment.
- Handle customer enquiries, exchanges and returns professionally.
About you
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in women's fashion retail.
- Previous experience in a senior sales or supervisory position, preferably in a boutique environment.
- A strong understanding of fashion and styling for mature women.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proven ability to sell confidently and build customer relationships.
- Experience processing and preparing online orders.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently, use initiative and take responsibility.
- Confidence using POS systems and basic computer applications.
- Experience with Shopify would be highly regarded.
