Honour Care is seeking a reliable, caring and experienced Disability Support Worker to support an adult male NDIS participant with Down Syndrome (Trisomy 21) and Autism.

The role primarily involves personal care, assistance with daily living, and overnight sleepover support in a home environment.

Shift Details

Monday to Tuesday:

- Monday: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Active Support)
- Monday: 10:00 PM – Tuesday 6:00 AM (Sleepover)
- Tuesday: 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM (Active Support)

This is a regular weekly shift arrangement expected to continue for several months.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with personal care, hygiene and toileting as required.
- Support daily living activities and evening/morning routines.
- Provide overnight sleepover support and respond to needs when required.
- Encourage independence, communication and positive engagement.
- Maintain accurate shift notes and communicate with the support team.

Requirements

- Previous experience supporting people with disabilities.




- Experience providing personal care and sleepover support.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain one.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates or willingness to obtain them.
- Good communication skills, reliability and a patient, respectful approach.
- Driver's licence and reliable transport preferred.
