Taco Bill Mexican Restaurants has been around for over 50 years and was one of the first restaurants to bring Mexican food to Australia! Famous for our sizzling fajitas, fishbowl margaritas, and sombreros, Taco Bill has been a favourite place for friends and families to gather for decades.
We are looking for passionate, energetic, and reliable Front of House team members to join our South Melbourne team!
This is a casual position ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fun, fast-paced restaurant environment and is available to work a flexible roster, including lunch, evening, and weekend shifts.
Preference will be given to applicants who live in or near South Melbourne and can commute to the restaurant easily and reliably.
Students are welcome to apply, provided they have suitable availability.
Full on-site training will be provided, and an immediate start is available!
Job Duties
- Prepare the register, tables, and bar before opening.
- Welcome and seat customers with a friendly smile.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently and provide excellent customer service.
- Explain menu items, make recommendations, and assist guests with dietary requirements and allergies.
- Operate the POS system, enter customer orders, and process payments.
- Prepare drinks and specialty cocktails behind the bar.
- Maintain a clean and organised restaurant.
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Job Types: Part time, Casual
Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3.0 – 24.0 per week
